Chapters on Unmixed Water (al-mā al-muṭlaq)

Chapter 1 - That it is pure and purifying (ṭāhir muṭahhir), lifting the ḥadath (something which breaks the wuḍū), removing filth

Chapter 2 - Seawater is pure and makes other things pure (ṭāhir muṭahhir), likewise well-water and icewater

Chapter 3 - The impurification of water by a change of its taste, or its color, or its smell, by the impurity, not by other than it, from whichever division (of water) it is

Chapter 4 - The ruling of the purity of water until one knows that impurity has reached it, so if impurity is found in it and after having used it and one doubts in regards to the precedence of its occurrence or its lateness it is ruled to be pure

Chapter 5 - The non-impurification of flowing water by it solely coming in contact with the impurity, so long as it is not altered

Chapter 11 - The measure of the kurr by the arṭāl (pl. of rotl)

Chapter 12 - The obligation of avoiding both vessels when one of them is impure and it is doubtful (which one it is)

Chapter 13 - The impermissibility of utilizing impure water in purity, and not (even) in exigency, and the permissibility of utilizing it at that time in eating and drinking exclusively

Chapter 14 - The non-impurification of well water by solely coming in contact (with impurity) without alteration, and the ruling of draining

Chapter 15 - What is drained from the well due to the death of the bull, the donkey, the camel, and nabīdh, the intoxicant, and the pouring of wine

Chapter 16 - What is drained from the well due to the urine of the infant and the man and other than them

Chapter 21 - What is drained from the well due to the death of a person, for blood, the little and the much

Chapter 22 - What is drained due to the dead animal falling in it, and the junub doing ghusl in it

Chapter 23 - The rule of alternating two by two in draining a well, and what is drained from the well with alteration
