Chapters on the Remnant Waters (al-as’ār)

Chapter 1 – The impurity of the remnant water (su’r) of the dog and the pig

Chapter 2 – The purity of the remnant water of the cat and the absence of its dislike

Chapter 3 – The impurity of the remnant waters of the categories of the unbelievers

Chapter 4 – The purity of the remnant waters of the birds, even if it has eaten carrion, with the being free of the place of reception (i.e. its beak) from the source of impurity

Chapter 5 – The purity of the rest of the animals (al-dawwāb, any animal that walks, creeps or crawls upon the Earth, but often particularly used for riding animals), even the masūkh, and the dislike of the remnant drink of whatever whose meat is not eaten

Chapter 6 – The dislike of the remnant water of the jallāl (an animal accustomed to eating human feces)

Chapter 7 – Purity of the remnant water of the junub

Chapter 8 – The purity of the remnant water of the menstruating woman, and the dislike of wuḍū from her remnant water when she is not trusted

Chapter 9 – The purity of the remnant water of the mouse, the snake, the lizard, the gecko, the scorpion, and what is similar to it and the recommendation of its avoidance, and of the purity of the remnant water of the beetle

Chapter 10 – The purity of what does not have coursing blood, even if it died

Chapter 11 – The ruling of dough with impure water
