A message from our North American CEO

Tarkett customers and partners,


The other day, we shared with you an update on our COVID-19 response and the impact government orders are having on our business. As we’ve said numerous times, our focus is on maintaining our service to you while ensuring the health and well-being of our team, customers and partners. This commitment continues to guide our decisions and our path forward.


As of today, all Tarkett operations in the U.S. remain open. However, in light of the stay at home order in the State of Ohio and given the current climate in the midst of COVID-19, we are temporarily adjusting our operating processes and hours at our Ohio-based manufacturing facilities and distribution center. This means that for the next several weeks, you may experience lead time increases on our resilient products.


To help minimize disruption for you, our customer service and sales teams will be working with you to understand your lead time requirements so we can prioritize orders, satisfying as many of your needs as possible during this time of constant change and uncertainty driven by COVID-19.


As for our other U.S. based operations, our Diamond W distribution centers in California and our Tarkett distribution centers in Clarion, PA and Murfreesboro, TN remain open and are shipping at typical lead times. Our Dalton, GA and Florence, AL operations are also operating at normal levels as those states have not yet put statewide stay at home orders in place. Some positive news since our last communication to you on Monday is that our woven production is back to normal as of today.


In Canada, as a result of the shelter in place order made by the province of Quebec, our Farnham manufacturing operations shut down at midnight on Tuesday, March 24. This closure is currently expected to last through Monday, April 13. This impacts our residential customers and partners. Our distribution center in Farnham is open and continues to ship product.


I know we’re not alone in the disruption the COVID-19 pandemic is causing. It seems changes are happening hour-by-hour, with no true end in sight. Through this uncertainty, we remain committed to keeping you updated with the latest decisions that could impact our ability to meet your needs. We also remain committed to being available to you.
