Spiral Day: Summer

Join us for a full day of dynamic movement and play! We'll use fields, forests and trails in the Oakland Hills to connect with each other and nature.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

This is an outdoor event with masks optional. There will be space to maintain social distancing if you like. Please do not attend if you feel sick and/or are actively sick!

We are keeping our group small by limiting Spiral Day to 20 participants.

Here are some strategies if you have concerns about Covid and the contact improvisation portion of the event:

1) Sign up with a self-selected partner for the day;

2) Wear an N-95 mask;

3) Use the 'contact time' as a solo/break time;

* Movement Games

* Contact Improvisation

Schedule:

9:30am - 10:30am: Senses + Gravity

10:30am - 12:00pm: Movement Flow

12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm - 2:30pm: Free Your Form

2:45pm - 4:15pm: Earth Contact

4:15pm: Closing Circle

Registration and Payment

Registration Fee: $23 (non-refundable via Eventbrite)

Yes, we are unable to provide food or water.

Arrival & Departure

Please plan to arrive by 9:15am to find the site and get comfy!Last class ends at 4:15pm with the option to stay longer and play.

Things to Know

- No pets- Bring layers and a hat!- Bring snacks and/or lunch.- Bring plenty of water.- Consider bringing a mat, towel, or blanket for some floor/earth exercises.- We'll be on the move, so everything should fit into a backpack / bag.- Please do not attend if you are sick or starting to feel sick!
