SETCASA (Southeast Texas Chapter of the American Statistical Association) is holding its annual poster competition. We invite students (undergraduate and graduate) as well as postdocs to present their statistical research for a chance to win an Award in one of the three categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze. The number of awards in each category will be determined based on merit and number of participants. The winners from last year (2018) are ineligible for the award, but are still welcome to present. Lunch for attendees and participants will be provided. For more information, please feel free to contact Dr. Irina Gaynanova at email@example.com. For the information on last year's poster session, please see SETCASA 2018 poster session.
The registration for poster presentation is currently closed, but for those registered we will provide poster easels which are 30" x 40". You may find the following resources useful for printing the poster (will be edited as the information is updated):
- TAMU Open Access Computer Labs (https://oal.tamu.edu/Lab-Locations), usually it is $20-30 for poster (http://oal.tamu.edu/Printing#0-PrintRates), every TAMU student should have some printing credits on their account which may be sufficient to cover the poster printing price, only available to registered TAMU students
- Copy Corner at MSC (http://copycorner.com/copies-printing/large-format-printing/), more expensive than TAMU Labs. Contact directly for pricing.
- FedEx Printing services (https://www.fedex.com/en-us/printing/posters/prints.html), there is a FedEx office 5 min walk from Blocker building, the prices are higher than TAMU Labs.
