Ph.D. Student in Economics at Texas A&M University
I am a 5th year Ph.D. student in Economics at Texas A&M University.
My research focuses on the unintended consequences of current policies on children and families' welfare and choice-making. My current work uses tools from the causal inference and industrial organization toolkit to understand how education policies, like school accountability, can impact a school's incentive to provide a certain quality of education and families' welfare as consumers of education.
My research is supported by Blueprint Labs and the Charter School Research Collaborative.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I received a B.S. in Economics from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
