Bio

Starting in July 2024, I joined Dr. Alge’s research group as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of polysaccharide and PEG-based hydrogels for biomedical applications. While being trained as a PhD student in Polymer Chemistry, I worked on stimuli-responsive polysaccharides for drug delivery systems (as a visiting researcher at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, Germany). Then, I joined the Pharmaceutical Sciences department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in October 2022 as a postdoctoral research associate to work on the development of thermo-responsive prodrugs for inflammatory and musculoskeletal diseases. I enjoy traveling to new places, reading, and cooking in my free time.
