Bio

To address the emerging concerns over polyethylene glycol (PEG) immunogenicity, I am characterizing the immune response against PEG. To achieve this goal, I am synthesizing multiple formulations of PEG-based hydrogels and implanting them in a sensitized mouse model. This characterization consists of various biological assessments including histology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, etc. I hope our results will either alleviate the concerns or lead future studies to utilize PEG smarter.
