Bio

My research is centered around leveraging hydrogel chemistry for specialized, local drug delivery. I am primarily focused on finding different strategies for the incorporation of therapeutics in hydrogels to create implantable drug reservoirs with tunable properties that optimize the drug release. I am currently working on ways to enable a sustained, local drug release of antibiotics through a PEG hydrogel platform.
