I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, confidential and accepting space where they can explore whatever is going on in their life without fear of judgement.
My journey into counselling has been shaped by supporting people through some of life's most difficult experiences. Since 2021 I've volunteered with Cruse Bereavement, helping people navigate grief and loss, and I've also worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties at Broadway Counselling.
Before becoming a counsellor, I had a background in elite sport. That experience gave me a real understanding of pressure, resilience and the emotional impact that injury, retirement, rejection and significant life changes can have on our confidence, identity and sense of purpose. It also strengthened my belief that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Every person who comes to counselling has their own story. Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want to work on, while others simply know that life doesn't feel quite right. Wherever you are, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My aim is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand yourself more clearly, recognise your strengths, and support you in finding the way forward that's right for you.
Outside of counselling, I continue to value the benefits of being active and spending time outdoors, which is why I also offer Walk & Talk Therapy for those who prefer being outside rather than sitting in a counselling room.
If you'd like to know whether I'm the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
