Volunteer Tutors/Helpers needed at Fairfax Library (received 11/28/22)
Homework Helpers at Fairfax Library!
Join the Homework Helpers Team, a program created and run by high school interns and the Marin County Free library at the Corte Madera Library. In January 2023, the program will be expanding to the Fairfax library, and the team is looking for volunteer tutors/helpers. The program will offer free “homework help” for English learners and underserved students (grades 3-10) at the Fairfax library every Saturday from 10am to noon.
The team is now hoping to recruit tutors from Archie Williams to run the new program starting in January. The team will be working in partnership with the current Corte Madera team and will receive training as well as support. If interested, please contact Estrempek@marincounty.org or nvernon@marincounty.org.
