Tribune Tries It: Kofenya’s Fall Drinks

The Talawanda Tribune took a trip to Oxford’s very own Kofenya Coffee to try some of their new fall drinks! This included… Hot and Cold Pumpkin Spice Latte, Caramel Apple Latte, HoneyCrisp Apple Latte, and Hot Apple Cider. Our staff rated the drinks on a scale of 1 to 5 turkeys.
Starting off strong with the the Cold Pumpkin Spice Latte, 40% of members voted this ⅘ turkeys! We just won’t talk about the 30% that gave it ⅕ turkeys… it was probably just Thomas (he doesn’t like cold coffee, so many votes are skewed because of his skewed taste buds). The Hot Pumpkin Spice Latte did not do as well, but the whole cup was gone by the end of the night so it must’ve been good!
Next up we will go to the Hot Caramel Apple Latte which scored fairly well and ended up with an overwhelmingly neutral response with majority giving ⅗ turkeys, not bad! The Cold Caramel Apple Latte did not score quite as well as it did when it was hot, Thomas’ response was “EW, EW, EW, ONE TURKEY”.
Now the Hot Honey Crisp Apple Latte! This did very well with 30% of members giving ⅘ turkeys and 30% of members giving 5/5 turkeys! Not everyone liked the Cold Honey Crisp Latte as much, doesn’t seem to be as crispy as the hot latte…
The Hot Apple Cider was BY FAR the most popular with 60% giving 5/5 turkeys and 30% giving ⅘ turkeys! Not naming names, but I bet the 10% that gave it ⅖ turkeys was Tribune’s own JDT. Daniel was a big fan of the Hot Apple Cider and even went back for more!
A BIG thank you to Kofenya Coffee House of Oxford for giving the best service and the best drinks! We’ll be back for more at Christmas!
