Career & Life Planning Team

To assist students in making a better informed decision and guide them to achieve the best match among career options, further education opportunities, their capabilities and aspirations.

1. To provide information on available and appropriate career / further education opportunities, local and overseas.
2. To develop among students an individualistic approach towards career planning / education opportunities.
3. To equip students with job related and life skills, such as interviewing skills, communication skills, decision making skills and social skills, etc; and inculcate in students and an early stage a correct attitude towards work.
4. To collect, update and disseminate information on further education, job opportunities, scholarships and relevant education training programs.
5. To conduct surveys on entry requirements of the tertiary institutes in Hong Kong and overseas, alert the graduates to different careers and education opportunities.
6. To assist students applying for further studies / jobs and write letters of recommendation for students.
7. To invite guest speakers to give talks on study opportunities and job opportunities and organize career visits.
8. To provide individual and group guidance on study opportunities and job opportunities.
9. To collect statistics from Secondary 6 students on their choice of study and paths of career.
10. To help students process application for scholarships and awards.
