Tahoma graduate (2015) Joanne De Howitt (previously Kunze) is a physician currently completing her specialization in mental health. Early on, she had a passion for helping people cope through challenging life circumstances. After high school, she graduated with her BS in Neuroscience from WSU and later with her MD from UW School of Medicine. She is now in her second year of psychiatry training in Spokane. She uses a combination of therapy and medications to help people with conditions such as depression, schizophrenia, and addiction to reach their goals.

Student may register on their own starting at 7:00 am on Friday, September 27. They will also have time to register in Freshman Success and 10th grade English classes.
Students register for Future Ready Day through their Skyward account. Students who don't register will have seminars selected for them.
Students will get a copy of their Future Ready Day schedule on October 22, 23, or 24 in their Freshmen Success,or ELA 10 class.
Students will report directly to their Future Ready Day first period at 7:40 (NOT the student's regularly assigned teacher). Students who were not able to get their schedules ahead of time can get them from the list posted on the bulletin board between the Learning Commons and the student printer. Students only need to bring a copy of their schedule and a pen or pencil to school that day.
