1. Data Collection and Usage When using the SyvaSoft Attendance App, we request access to your device's Camera and Fingerprint scanning hardware. This access is required strictly for the purpose of employee authentication and attendance verification.
Camera Data: We collect facial images solely to verify employee identity during clock-in/clock-out events.
Biometric Data: We collect and process fingerprint templates using connected SecuGen hardware to authenticate employees.
2. Data Storage and Transmission Facial images and fingerprint templates are securely stored locally on the device's internal database. This data is periodically synchronized with your organization's secure, self-hosted ERP server (iDempiere/ERPNext) to maintain attendance logs.
3. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share your facial or biometric data with any third parties, advertisers, or external analytics services. The data is only transmitted between the mobile application and your organization's authorized backend server.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Biometric and attendance data is retained as long as the employee is active within the organization. Employees or administrators may request the deletion of their biometric templates and facial images at any time by contacting their system administrator or emailing sales@syvasoft.com
