"Why fit in when you were born to stand out?"
-Dr. Seuss
My name is Deanna Mazzuca and I'm so excited you are here!
I’m proud to celebrate my 25th year in education! My teaching journey began in Philadelphia, where I taught grades K–8 in both general and special education settings. For the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District, spending most of that time co-teaching in a 3rd grade classroom.
This year marks my 8th year as a certified Wilson Instructor at the Harker School. I absolutely love exploring the English language with my students. Our classroom is full of curiosity, creativity, and lots of fun!
When I’m not in school, you’ll likely find me reading a good book, cheering on the Phillies or Eagles, and enjoying time with my family and friends.
I can't wait to meet my new students this year, and I'm thrilled to welcome back my amazing 4th and 5th graders:) I’m looking forward to another fantastic school year filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships.
See you soon!
Mrs. Mazzuca 😊
