These have not been easy times for our school community and all those around the world impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. For Southwest, it’s meant transitioning our families into a completely remote learning environment, while waiting to see if we could soon resume face-to-face classroom instruction. However, in support of safety efforts to combat this dangerous virus, and following the executive order issued from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, SWISD will continue to follow the state's guidelines.

Our communication Newsletters provide parents & students with updates, resources, activities, lessons, video links, announcements and many other things to assist you throughout the year.

SWISD's Counselor & Social Workers are committed to serve our students in a remote and F2F setting. Our services may look a little different now, but please know that we are working hard to provide the services that you and/or your child are needing.

At any time, if you are in an EMERGENCY situation, please call 9-1-1.
