Mrs. Michelle Triplett is a graduate from the University of the Incarnate Word, SA, TX, Texas where she earned both her BA and MA in Education. She received her Principal's Certification from Lamar University, Bastrop, TX. Mrs. Triplett brings 27 years of educational experience to the CAST STEM High School team. Previously, she served as the District Coordinator for Instructional Technology & Library Media Services in Judson ISD. There, she supported student ownership of learning by overseeing the implementation of Genius Hour, a student choice research process. Mrs. Triplett also served as the District Coordinator for Instructional Technology & Library Services in South San Antonio ISD where she provided leadership in supporting the district’s 1:1 technology initiative which provided students with 24/7 access to learning. Mrs.Triplett began her career in Education with Northside ISD where she served in the role of Campus Instructional Technologist coaching teachers to implement 21st Century Learning best practices into instruction and student learning. It was while she worked as a Classroom Teacher that she discovered her passion to provide students with hands-on, engaging learning opportunities. Mrs. Triplett has also worked as an Independent Instructional Design Consultant designing training materials for using medical equipment.

Mrs. Triplett recently joined the CAST STEM High School team as the Mentorship Coordinator. She views this as an amazing opportunity to be part of a school that embraces students discovering their own academic pathway as they prepare for their future. She is very passionate about students being able to have opportunities to develop their sense of self and confidence, engage in real-world problem-solving experiences that prepare them for their future and be active participants in their own learning process.

Personally, Mrs. Triplett enjoys her role as Soccer Mom supporting her middle school son on and off of the field. She loves to spend quality time with family, enjoys cooking and traveling to new places.
