Yearbook distribution will follow the schedule below....

Pre-sale purchases - Anyone that has purchased their yearbook by Friday May 10 will be able to pick up their yearbook at the ASB North windows starting Monday May 13. You will need your student ID.

No yearbook Sales will occur during the week of 5/13 through 5/17

Yearbook sales will resume Monday 5/20. When you buy, you will receive your yearbook.

If you purchased a senior package, the yearbook was included.

Yearbooks are available for sale at the ASB now for $85.

SUHSD Student Board Rep - Applications

The time is upon us once again to begin the selection process for the Student School Board Representative for the 2019-20 school year. Student candidates need to be JUNIORS in the 2019-20 school year. Interested applicants may obtain an application from your ASB office starting May 13, 2019. Please complete the application, and return it to the ASB office along with their one page statement by May 24, 2019. Application for this important position is open to all high school students who will be juniors during the 2019-20 school year. Interested students will submit a single page typed essay to why they would like to be the Student School Board Representative, they also need to be prepared to support their essay in a 10-minute interview conducted by ASB Presidents. The selected student and the alternate will be presented to the school board during the regular June meeting of the Board of Trustees. Click HERE to download application.

Healthy Kids Survey

Teachers of 9th and 11th graders are to administer the CHKS on Friday, May 24th during 2nd period.

Show choir auditions

Auditions for the 2019-2020 Choir Program will be held on Friday, May 24th @ 2:00 p.m. in the choir room. Please prepare an audition piece under 2 minutes long and wear comfortable clothing. Hope to see you there!

Cap And gown

Parents and seniors, time is running out to order your graduation cap and gown if you already ordered it disregard this message if you have not ordered it visit Sdgrad.Com to get your order placed we must have your cap and gown order by the end of April, after that we cannot guarantee the proper size and fit of your cap and gown you can order online, print out the order form and mail it or stop by their office in El Cajon. don't miss out!

AP Exams Schedule w/Time and Location

This is a reminder that the AP Testing continues through May 17th. Check the AP Testing calendar on the EHS website for information on exam dates, times, and locations. Snacks

and water will be provided for each exam.

Reminders;

-Pay any remaining AP balance at the ASB, cash or checks only

-Bring pencils, pens, calculators, etc.

-Electronic devices are prohibited in the testing area

-Check-in begins at 7:30 AM for morning exams and at 11:30 AM for afternoon exams

-LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST!

-No refunds

There will be no bells or announcements from May 6th-May 17th due to AP Testing. Students, make sure to be on time.

volunteers needed - Challenger Baseball Tournament

Attached (HERE) is the flyer for volunteers for the Challenger Baseball Tournament on June 1 for Special Needs Baseball Players. We are expecting 18 – 20 teams including 7 – 8 Challenger from various Baja California towns. We will have various carnival games to entertain our visitors and volunteers are needed to help setup and takedown the various booths and items we will need for the tournament which is tentatively set for 9am to 4pm. Walk Against Hate 2019: May 19

Hello Titans,

I would like to invite you to join my family (and the Colarusso family) to participate in the Anti-Defamation League’s Walk Against Hate that is taking place on May 19.

It would be great to see a big Titan turn out at this event that is pushing back on hate and violence in our society. Did you ever notice the giant poster on the gate at the entrance of our school that says “No Place For Hate”? It came from the same organization that is sponsoring this event.

The registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for kids. Here is the link

Audition Notice

We are preparing to begin auditions for our upcoming Summer Theater Institute. This years’ production will be “SHREK The Musical”. Our Summer Theater Institute auditions are open to all SUHSD Actors/Actresses, Dancers, Singers, Stage Techs and Set Construction crews.

We are offering three different audition dates and locations so that all students have an opportunity to audition. All of the dates/locations/times are listed on the attached (click HERE) Audition Notice.

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS

  1. Students should check their school emails for attendance information.
  2. Download the infinite campus app to receive attendance notification in real time.
  3. Independent Study Contracts are not given the week of finals per the school handbook.
  4. Please plan vacations around the school calendar. Calendars are posted for this year and the next two years. Click HERE

NOn-Privileged list (Click Here to check your status)!!!

Click HERE to see list AS OF 4/23/19. NP lists are updated bi-weekly and posted at the ASB and Main Office. You will NOT be able to participate in any school-sponsored event(Including Graduation) if your name is on the Non-Privileged list. THIS tutorial shows how to check attendance on Infinite Campus. You MUST clear your name off the non-privileged list two weeks before any event. Senior Contract, Attendance, library/ASB fines, fundraising debt, Senior contract missing and athletic uniforms or gear owed are all reasons for being placed on this list.

class of 2019 graduation info

The date has been confirmed, the class of 2019 will graduate on Thursday June 6th at 8:45am at Southwestern College. More important graduation information will be posted HERE as it becomes available. Most of the logistics of graduation will be available by the end of March. Each senior will get 9 tickets.

Senior contracts

Please submit your senior contract to the MAIN OFFICE. They were due in October so If you have not turned yours in you have been placed on the Non-Privileged list and you will not be able to participate in ANY senior activities(Prom, Grad Nite and Graduation). The list will be updated weekly to reflect the senior contracts turned in. You can pick up a blank one at the ASB lobby or the main office.

Graduation announcements/rings/cap and Gowns

It's time to order your caps and gowns, announcements and rings for the 2019 school year! San Diego Graduate Supply is proud to be Eastlake High Schools provider for graduation products. You can order online at www.sdgrad.com or walk into our office at 641 El Cajon Blvd. El Cajon, CA 92020. Click HERE for the order form. Each student will be issued a cap and gown by the school that has been previously used. Should you choose to purchase a souvenir cap and gown to be worn at the graduation ceremony instead, you may do so.

Rings

You can design your ring online at highschool.herffjones.com. Order online or print it out and bring it to us when we are on campus. Order your class ring with only a $100 deposit and make payments if you like. Click HERE for photo

Letter Jackets

Check out the order packet attached to this message, we have included the order form and information on the ring/jacket package. Order a ring and get the jacket package ($290) for only $210, and if you add a mascot save an additional $35 (mascot is normally $75, get it for $40). Click HERE for example

Dress Code Reminder

Titans - Attire should protect the health and safety of all students. Be sure that you are following all dress code guidelines. Go HERE for the student/parent handbook and see page 10 for dress code guidelines.

Lost and Found

Titans, if you have lost any clothes or other personal belongings, be sure to report them to the Lost and Found located in the ASB to check for your lost items. If you find items, please bring them to the ASB. Thank you!
