This course is designed to provide stude ts with a solid foundation upon which all future math courses will build.  The purpose of this course is to formalize and reinforce operations on real numbers and build more abstract mathematical thinking and representation.  Students solidify and expand on knowledge related to operations with variables, solving and graphing equations and representing situations as function.
