This course, designed to allow students a self-paced environment to demonstrate proficiency in the Algebra II domains

using on-line materials and tutorials in addition to classroom instruction. The goal of the course is to prepare students

for college entrance without remediation in mathematics. As a part of the course, students will make sense of problems

and persevere in solving them, reason abstractly and quantitatively, construct viable arguments and critique the

reasoning of others, model with mathematics, use mathematical tools, attend to precision, look for and make use of

structure, and look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.


This course, designed for students who completed Algebra II and still need a fourth-year math course and who

scored at the remedial college level on a college placement test in mathematics.
