Credit: 1
Fee: TI-83/84 family graphing calculator
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
In Algebra II, the program focuses on four domains: (1) Polynomial, Rational, and Radical Relationships, (2)
Trigonometric Functions, (3) Modeling with Functions, and (4) Inferences and Conclusions from Data. As a part of the
course, students will make sense of problems and persevere in solving them, reason abstractly and quantitatively,
construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others, model with mathematics, use mathematical tools, attend
to precision, look for and make use of structure, and look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. Completion
of Algebra II is a requirement for high school graduation.
