“Physical science introduces (freshmen) students to key concepts and theories that provide a foundation for further study in sciences and advanced science disciplines. Physical science comprises the systematic study of the physical world as it relates to fundamental concepts about matter, energy and motion. A unified understanding of phenomena in physical, living, Earth and space systems is the culmination of all previously learned concepts related to chemistry, physics, and Earth and space science, along with historical perspective and mathematical reasoning.” (ODE Revised Science Standards)

BE RESPECTFUL: It is important to treat everyone and everything in the classroom with respect. Raising your hand to share your thoughts, giving your peers space and keeping away from their belongings, listening while others are talking, and using all materials properly are good ways to be respectful. It is always required that you follow all directions given, remain focused and abide by the safety rules to maintain a good learning environment!
BE RESPONSIBLE: You are responsible for your learning. This means you must be prepared, on time, on task and ready to learn each and every day. If you are having trouble with the material it is up to you to recognize that and ask for help. I am always happy to meet with students and provide extra help.
BE RECOGNIZED: Participate in class discussions, collaborate with peers on projects/assignments, and listen actively to the ideas of your peers and teacher.
