Franklin Heights High School is 1 of 5 high schools in the South-Western City School District, housing approximately 1,300 students. Choir students meet daily during the school day. In the choral program, there are 3 different ensembles: Chorale, Concert Choir, and Ensemble.

Each ensemble presents 3-5 concerts per year, in addition to experiences at Solo and Ensemble events and OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event.

Chorale is Franklin Heights' advanced SATB choir. Students in this group receive 1 credit and it meets during second period. This is a highly selective group that participates in events throughout the year including Solo and Ensemble, OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event, and SWCSD Honor Choir.  This ensemble is dedicated to the performance of a variety of music styles. Professionalism in all aspects of performance is stressed. This ensemble focuses on developing and refining musicianship and sight-reading skills.

Concert Choir is for tenor and bass voices only and meets during third period. Students in this group receive 1 credit. This ensemble focuses on many different genres and styles as well as developing basic musicianship and sight-reading skills.

Ensemble is for soprano and alto voices only. This ensemble meets during 5th period and students receive 1 credit for this class. This group focuses on many different genres and styles as well as developing basic musicianship and sight-reading skills.
