C.A.A.E.L.
A Chicago Area Alternative Education League includes leagues and tournaments for chess, bowling, art, soccer, volleyball, softball, flag football, basketball, and spelling bees.
Used throughout the school day, it motivates these boys and girls to come to school, complete their assignments, and behave appropriately. CAAEL is integrated directly into the curriculum and all activities take place during school hours.
Through CAAEL’s emphasis on sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork vs. winning and losing, educators use their CAAEL membership to teach the skills needed to be both successful students and productive citizens.

Write a 2 paragraph (at least 5 sentences EACH) on how P.E. can relate to what you are learning in your classroom subjects.
Example: If you are learning at World War II you can talk about how the soldiers trained and maintained their health. What did they do to help them stay in shape. Math: you can talk about percentages of shoots made or other stats for sports. If you need more examples and help feel free to ask Mr. Sobotka.
