Welcome to the web site for the conference of macroeconomists from liberal arts colleges. The conference brings together researchers from liberal arts colleges with interests in macroeconomics and finance. The conference typically includes 1-2 sessions on teaching pedagody in Macro and mentoring workshops for young scholars at Liberal Arts Colleges.
If you are interested in joining the Macroeconomists at Liberal Arts Colleges group, please email Maria Olivero at moliver1@swarthmore.edu.
2027 Conference Information
The conference serves as an opportunity for faculty (including non-tenure-track faculty) at liberal arts colleges to present work in a collegial, friendly environment and to participate in professional development.
The 2027 annual conference will be held August 4 to 6 in Easton, PA and sponsored by Lafayette College. Thank you Amy Guisinger, Mike Carter and Julie Smith for hosting! Easton is a 70-minute drive from Newark airport and a 90-minute drive from the Philadelphia airport and/or 30th street Amtrak station.
We plan to hold two types of sessions:
1. Traditional conference presentations of completed or near-complete papers
2. Workshop sessions for presenting early/partially completed work.
Call for papers and more details will be posted in January.
