5th Grade Beginning Band
This very special group of musicians embarks upon a fantastic journey throughout the school year. Students will learn the basics of their chosen instrument and will be able to play a variety of songs within just the first few months! Students will also get the chance to compose their own music to perform. We are looking for more performance opportunities to share our gifts!
Middle School Warrior Band
The Warrior Band will be starting off the year with Pep Band music with the anticipation of playing at a couple home basketball games. We will also focus on selecting music for the Christmas concert in December.
Digital Audio Production
Digital Audio Production (DAP) is a class at Swan River School in which we learn to create digital audio media by utilizing Soundtrap, an online cross-platform digital audio workstation (DAW) for browsers. Students create music and podcasts by using original material, incorporating loops, instruments, and drum beats found within the Soundtrap library. There are various projects assigned to students throughout the year with the freedom to also create personal preference projects.
