My name is Anita Clay Moody and I am very excited to be your general music teacher this year! I want to know All about you, but first I will tell you a few things about me. I grew up with an enormous passion for music, particularly piano and voice. As a young child I began taking private lessons to enrich my craft, but I never intended to teach music when I set my path for college. I attended the unsinkable Albany State College (University) and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation I struggle several years trying to find my niche to what I wanted to do in life. Finally, with my mother's encouragement to follow my heart, I returned back to school and received my certification to teach music. I have not regretted that decision at all.I have been married for over 25 years. My Husband and I enjoy traveling and learning about other worlds and their cultures. We also love spending time together with our grand-kids. They are currently a highlight in our lives that keeps us motivated to do and be better. I can not wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!
