Dealing with Teasing

Teases and putdowns are never okay. Teases and putdowns hurt our feelings. How you react to teases and putdowns matter. The way you react to teases and putdowns could STOP THEM FAST!

These strategies WILL stop the teases. Give it time. Pretend it's not a bid deal. If the teasing doesn't stop, talk with an adult to help solve the problem.

Remember, don't tease the fisherman back.
