First, ask yourself one question. . .
Is this a worry I have control over NOW?
No. Try to let the worry go.
Do I worry so much I can't do the things I want to do?
Yes. Find an adult you trust to talk to.
VISUALIZE (close your eyes and imagine)
1)Put that worry into a box, lock it and put it away in your mind. You can open it again when you can do something about the worry.
2) Choose an image to represent your worry. Imagine it getting smaller and smaller until it disappears.
BREATH
5 STAR Breathing: Draw a star with your finger. Slow breath in on the line. Pause on the point. Slow breath out on the next line. Continue until you've drawn a star.
Slowest Minute Breathing: Take big, slow breathes for one minute. If you're doing it right you may only get 2 or 3 breathes. Use the clock in your classroom or try this clock.
Rainbow Breathing
