We are privileged to have Blue Sky Bridge present important safety information to our kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grade students on October 16, 23, 30, and Nov 6.
This is an opt-in program and families should have received permission forms from classroom teachers.
See opportunities for caregiver education and links to videos of grade level content below.
Blue Sky Bridge is a nonprofit Child Advocacy Center serving Boulder County children, youth, and their families. Their vision is a community without child abuse, and they strive to make our community safer for all children and families through intervention, education and advocacy.
Blue Sky Bridge’s qualified staff will present their education program to school personnel, and our students. The student education takes place over four weekly lessons and covers the following topics:
● Body safety, including private parts
● The touching rules
● Differences between surprises, secrets, & personal information
● Identification of trusted adults
● Understanding and implementing the “No, Go, Tell” safety plan
You can learn more about what your student will hear by watching the sample kindergarten and third grade videos or the parent video . If you prefer, you can also attend a live Zoom presentation where Blue Sky Bridge staff will talk about the program and answer questions. Click HERE to register for a Zoom parent talk.
