Usborne Online Book Fair Open Now Until Friday, May 29th
Need books for summer reading? Looking for great boredom buster activity books? Eagle Crest Library is happy to be partnering with Usborne Books & More to help bring you books that encourage reading, learning and fun. The Usborne/Eagle Crest Online Book Fair is open now through Friday, May 29, 2020.
Just go to www.exploreusborne.com, Click on SHOP and select Eagle Crest Elementary and start shopping for books!
All purchases from the online book fair will provide the library with new books for our students next year! There are over 1,800 books to choose from that entertain, engage, and educate! So click, shop and keep on reading!
Returning Books
LIBRARY BOOKS AT HOME - If you have books at home from the Eagle Crest Library, please bring the books to the school the week of June 8th when you will be picking up your personal items. See the note attached below from Mr. Ball with more information about the pick up process.
Letter to Parents re-Pick Up of Personal Items
This year the Longmont Public Library will be hosting its Summer Reading Program entirely online due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions.
Here's what you need to know:
The Summer Reading Bingo program runs from June 1 to July 31.
The program is open to everyone from birth to rising 12th graders.
We must receive your completed bingo card by July 31 in order to receive your book prize.
One completed bingo card per player, please.
Download and print a Summer Reading Bingo card in English or in Spanish. Monday, June 1.
Do the activity inside a square.
Cross off or fill in the square to show you finished it.
Fill 5 squares in a row to get Bingo!, or challenge yourself to complete the entire card!
Fill out the Summer Reader Information.
Turn in your bingo card in one of three ways:
Drop your bingo Board off at the Children's and Teens' Information Desk when the Library reopens.
Take a photo of your bingo card and email to librarychildrensprograms@longmontcolorado.gov.

Claim your free book prize. Once we've received your bingo card, we'll contact you to set up a way for you to receive your free book.
