Driving to the start: From southbound Maryland Route 5 or 301 proceed to the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 5/301 and Cedarville Road and make a left turn onto Cedarville Road. From northbound Maryland Route 301, proceed to the intersection with Cedarville Road and make a right turn onto Cedarville Road. Continue on Cedarville Road as it curves to the right. Travel 2.3 miles and turn right on Bee Oak Road at sign for Cedarville State Forest. Pass the Ranger Station to the stop sign at the four-way intersection with Forest Road. Continue straight and turn left at the "Pavilions" sign and a 10mph sign. Pavilion #2 will be a short distance on the right.
