A little about myself:
I graduated from the University of Nebraska--Lincoln in 1997 with a B.S. degree and a 7-12 English Language Arts endorsement. I then continued my education at the University where I earned a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction in 1999.
My first teaching job was at Dawes Middle School in Lincoln. After a year, my family relocated to Sidney, Nebraska where I taught junior high English for a year. Next, I taught at Lexington High School for five years and coached freshman volleyball and speech. In the fall of 2004 I began teaching at Southern Valley where I have taught 7-12 English classes, served at the journalism and prom sponsor and coached Mock Trial.
While not at school, I enjoy attending my children's activities, traveling, or reading a good book.
