Mrs. Anderson

Rachelle Anderson has been teaching at Chaparral High School since 2005. In 2000, Mrs. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Hospitality and Restaurant Management/Finance from Northern Arizona University. After working in HRM for a few years, she decided to pursue a more meaningful and rewarding career in education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Arizona State University. In 2005 after student teaching at Chaparral, Mrs. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Arizona State University. In 2009, she earned her Master in Secondary Education with a Reading Emphasis in English from Northern Arizona University. In November of 2013, Mrs. Anderson was awarded her National Board Certification in Teaching for English Language Arts/Adolescence and Young Adult by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, which is recognized as the gold standard in teacher certification due to the board’s pedagogical philosophy that higher standards for teachers means better learning for students, which is a belief shared by Mrs. Anderson as evident by her continued pursuit for teaching excellence.
