Mrs. Kubly

Studio Art I

Mrs. Kubly has been teaching Photography and Studio Art at Arcadia HS since 2014. She received her BS Art and teaching certification in Art K-12 from University of Wisconsin-Madison. From there, she completed a Masters of Fine Art degree at Arizona State University where she worked in Metals and investigated the origins and workings of the camera obscura. Her thesis work consisted of functional handmade metal cameras.

Recently, Mrs. Kubly had two art openings for her own creative work. She creates her own pinhole cameras in metal - some of these are small enough to be worn- and uses the cameras to create unique images. Her work can be found at Practical Art Gallery in Phoenix and Photo Eye Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
