Mrs. Gabriel

Mrs. Gabriel has earned her Masters of Science in special education, elementary education and art education at Hofstra University and her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Syracuse University. She taught in New York before accepting a position in the Scottsdale School District in 1997. She has worked extensively in both resource and self-contained settings with individuals having issues such as ADD, ADHD, autism, specific learning disabilities, speech and language disorders and behavioral disorders. She earned the Scottsdale Churros Outstanding Educator award for the 2008-2009 school year. She has served as chairman of the Intervention Planning Team for over 12 years devising strategies and interventions for struggling students.
