Mr. Strohmeyer

Mr. Strohmeyer graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno witha B.S. in Population Biology and Ecology with a minor in Chemistry. He spent 9 Years with the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter before starting his teaching career in 2008. He came to Arizona in 2011 and started at Desert Mountain in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Strohmeyer teaches Biology and Earth Science Honors.

Mr. Stromeyer was teacher of the year at Sandra Day O'Connor High School and has earned special recognition awards with Zeta Phi Beta and the International Society for Technology in Education. Mr. Strohmeyer enjoys the outdoors, fishing and hiking and video games.
