Mr. Johnston

Mr. Johnston is the new Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Saguaro High School for the 2019-2020 school year. Prior to his time at Saguaro, he served as a PE, Driver Education, and Social Studies teacher for 12 years, most recently at Wethersfield HS in Kewanee, IL. Mr. Johnston has also served as the Head Varsity Football coach (10 years) and Head Boys Track Coach (3 years) of the Annawan-Wethersfield program, with additional teaching and coaching stops at Charleston HS and Edwardsville HS, all in Illinois. Mr. Johnston believes in providing students with interscholastic athletic opportunities that will help develop a number of skills that will benefit our student-athletes now and into their future.
