Mrs. McCown

Jordan McCown is a sophomore English teacher new to Chaparral this school year. She taught 7th Grade Writing for 3 years before moving up to the high school level. All but a semester of those 3 years were spent in Cleveland, Texas, before she and her husband moved here at the start of the 2018 calendar year. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in Texas with a degree is Mass Communications before pursuing a career in education. She quickly earned her certification for secondary ELA, and also has a supplemental certification for ESL.
