Maestra: Hernandez-Florez

Maestra: Hernandez-Florez is a 6^th grade DLI Science and Social Studies teacher. She has been working in Scottsdale Unified School district since 1998. Maestra: Hernandez-Florez has experience in k- 6^th grade and also as a Community Specialist. Her philosophy for learning is, that each learner is unique, and learns in a different way; it is her goal to create a community of learners who are committed to practicing respect, working hard, and having fun. She would like learners to leave her classroom feeling confident that their knowledge of the Spanish language can be applied in real-life situations. Maestra: Hernandez-Florez earned her bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University.
