Mrs. Schroeder has worked in the field of education for eighteen years. She began her journey in education at Northern Arizona University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. She continued her education at St. Mary’s College and received a Masters of Arts degree in Educational Administration. Mrs. Schroeder embarks on her fifth year as resource teacher here at Desert Mountain High School. She has an array of experience in her field and has worked as a special education paraprofessional, 3rd grade special education teacher, 5th grade teacher, 8th grade pre-algebra teacher, after school program teacher leader, elementary assistant principal and summer school principal. Mrs. Schroeder’s most current endeavor is to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is currently completing a Positive Behavior Support, Graduate Certificate at Northern Arizona University.
