FP Inter-House Fun Gala

We are thrilled to invite you to the SVPS Foundation Phase Inter-House Fun Gala! Get ready for an action-packed day filled with energy, sportsmanship, and exceptional athletic talent as our learners take to the track and field to represent their houses with pride.

Your presence adds to the electric atmosphere, and we encourage you to bring your cheers and support to inspire our athletes as they give their best in every event. Let’s make this a memorable day, brimming with excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable moments of determination and achievement. We look forward to seeing you there!

All Grade 1-3 students will be taking part in a fun race. Select athletes will be selected to take part in the Championship Races based on there times that have been recorded throughout the year. 

Time:

08:30 Start. Please enter through the Sports Gate. The gates will be open from 08h15. 

Dress up: 

Students are to wear their house colours and add colourful accessories. Please avoid large name-brand items and note that this is not a civvies day. Please pack hats and sunscreen. 

Refreshments:

Birdies Tuckshop will be open for any refreshments. 

Seating Arrangements:

Athletes will be seated in their houses on the stands parallel to the pool. Parents are to be seated on the grand stands at the top of the pool. Parents are to use the bathrooms at the sports office.

Parking:

Parking is available around the school. Please be mindful of our neighbours. 

Parents Race:

There is a parent race at the end of the day and we encourage parents to get involved. House points will be allocated to your child's house. 

Championship Races:

Championship races are for select swimmers and are based on times from the time trials done in November 2025.

Fun Races:

Fun class races include all students within the class. Grade 7 Water Polo Players will be in the water to assist those who may need some extra help.
