Join us on the first Sunday of each month from November to April (with a break in January) for a celebration of history, community, and fun. This series showcases diverse volunteer groups rooted in the rich heritage of Werribee Park. Explore the past with our historical reenactment group, delve into organic gardening with our veg growing enthusiasts, or admire our fruit laden heritage orchards. Engage with our inclusive community of all abilities and witness the artistry of traditional blacksmithing.
Enjoy a day filled with family-friendly activities, tantalizing food vendors, and live entertainment. Whether you're a history buff, gardening enthusiast, or simply seeking a memorable outing, Werribee Park Family Farm Days promises something for everyone! Mark your calendars and join us for a unique experience amid the picturesque surroundings of Werribee Park.
Please note that due to Parks Victoria requirements, we cannot allow dogs or cats at these events, so please leave your four-legged companions at home.
Activities
Visit our chooks - we have a gorgeous rooster, fluffy hens, guinea fowl, and even some newly hatched chicks!
Visit our bountiful veg gardens, purchase some veg and ask a question or two of our volunteer experts.
Bring a picnic blanket and have lunch on our spacious lawns.
Be regalled with tales of history from our wandering costumed volunteers from yesteryear.
Enjoy Blacksmithing demonstrations from our local blacksmithing volunteers.
Be entertained with cultural dancing and recitals from local community groups.
And if you still have time & energy, take a short stroll up to the Mansion and formal gardens and explore all they have to offer.

We are a passionate collaboration of volunteer groups based at Werribee Park, united by our love for community, and a desire to share our wonderful space with visitors, locals, and perhaps even some future volunteers!
Together, we organize Family Farm Day events that offer hands-on experiences for families to explore and enjoy farm life. From animal encounters and guided garden tours to interactive workshops and fun outdoor activities, our events aim to inspire a connection with nature, promote sustainable practices, and foster a sense of community for all ages.
