Possible Cause:
The trusted credentials disabled or the phone is unable to authenticate secure connections.
Steps:
Start by connecting the phone to the internet using Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
Go to Settings.
Select Security & Privacy.
Tap More Security & Privacy.
Open Advanced Options.
Select Encryption & Credentials.
Tap Trusted Credentials.
Turn ON all available options.
2. Unable to Receive Calls
Possible Cause:
The Call blocking or harassment filter settings have been enabled.
Steps:
Start by opening the Phone (Dialer) app.
Tap the Settings icon (top right).
Select SIM & Network Settings.
Choose Data & Security.
Open Harassment Filter.
Ensure the following options are OFF:
Block numbers not in contacts
Block unknown or hidden numbers
Review Allowed Numbers and confirm no valid contacts are blocked.
3. SIM Not Detected or Slot Unresponsive
Possible Cause:
The SIM Card is damaged, dirty SIM Card tray, or software configuration issue.
Steps:
Start by powering off the phone.
Carefully remove the SIM card.
Inspect the SIM for scratches or bends.
Clean the SIM Card and tray gently with a dry and soft cloth or brush.
Reinsert the SIM correctly.
Power on the phone and test network connection.
If the above does not work, test the SIM in another phone or insert a different SIM in this phone.
Reset network settings and update the OS if needed.
Messaging & Contacts Related Issues
1. Messages Not Received
Possible Cause:
The SMS application data has been corrupted.
Steps:
Press and hold the SMS/Messages app.
Tap App Info.
Select Storage.
Tap Clear Cache.
Tap Clear Data.
Restart the phone.
Possible Cause:
Incorrect default contact storage location.
Steps:
Start by ensuring the phone is connected to the internet.
Open the Contacts app.
Tap the three vertical dots (top left or right).
Select Settings.
