Possible Cause:
The inverter is configured to prioritize utility (grid) power instead of solar and battery power. Common incorrect modes include UTI (Utility) or SNU (Solar and Utility).
To reduce grid usage, the inverter must be set to:
SBU (Solar → Battery → Utility) for load priority
OSO (Only Solar) for charging priority
Press the SET button to enter Setting Mode.
Press the UP button to scroll to Setting 01.
Press ENTER. The current mode (for example, UTI) will start blinking.
Press UP or DOWN until SBU appears on the screen.
Press ENTER to confirm.
Press SET to exit Setting Mode.
This ensures the inverter uses solar first, then battery, and only uses utility power when necessary.
Press the SET button to enter Setting Mode.
Press the UP button to scroll to Setting 06.
Press ENTER. The current mode (for example, SNU) will start blinking.
Press UP or DOWN until OSO appears on the screen.
Press ENTER to confirm.
Press SET to exit Setting Mode.
This ensures the battery is charged only from solar, not from utility power.
Confirm solar panels are generating power during daylight hours.
Check that batteries are connected and functioning.
