Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

The BMS FBLA Chapter attended the 2018-2019 State FBLA Conference in Charleston, South Carolina The SC State conference is where SC middle and high school members test and compete in different events showcasing their knowledge and skills. This is an annual event for this club.

Alijah McFadden was also appointed to serve on SC FBLA Executive Board as Middle School Representative for the 2019-2020 school year.

Science Olympiads

The Science Olympiad student club offers interscholastic academic competition in biology, earth science, chemistry, physics, problem solving, and technology. The state and national tournaments consist of a series of individual and team events, and there is a balance between events requiring knowledge of scientific facts, concepts, processes, skills, and science applications.

Quiz Bowl

Quiz bowl is a quiz-based competition that tests players on a wide variety of academic subjects. Standardized quiz bowl formats are played by middle school students throughout the United States. Our team was formed during the 2018-2019 school year.

Students will compete Saturday, November 2, 2019 in the SC MathFest at Crestwood High School from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Our Step Team took 1st place in the Shriner's Parade on 5/25/19.
