Cold and Sickness Guidelines
General Guidelines
If you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of a cold, such as a runny nose, cough, sore throat, or fever, please stay home to recover and prevent spreading illness to others.
Individuals should avoid coming to campus if they are experiencing symptoms of sickness. This helps maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
Masking
While masks are not required, they are strongly advised if you are experiencing symptoms of a cold or are feeling unwell and need to be around others. Masks help reduce the risk of spreading illness.
Masks may be requested by others if they are uncomfortable being in close proximity with someone who is sick. Please be respectful of these requests.
Isolation Protocol
Individuals who are sick should isolate themselves at home until they are feeling better and are symptom-free.
If you must come to campus while feeling unwell, please wear a mask to prevent spreading any potential illness.
Health and Hygiene Practices
Practice good hygiene by washing hands regularly with soap and water, especially after coughing, sneezing, or touching your face.
Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
Avoid close contact with others and cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
Eating and Breaks
Student artists can continue to eat in the breakroom or outside, maintaining distance from others if feeling unwell.
Avoid sharing food or utensils to reduce the risk of spreading germs.
