The Partner Handbook is a living document of the roles, responsibilities, and learning structures of the network. Based on the belief that each organization can build an effective engine of continuous improvement, this handbook outlines how each site's improvement team can work together while adapting to local contexts.

At its core, continuous improvement (CI) is problem-solving. It is a rigorous process predicated on the belief that every problem exists within a system. The NIC Playbook provides a practical overview of each step of the CI process with illustrative examples, descriptions, and tools.

This is the current PDSA template used across the NIC. You may see others "out in the wild" but this is our current starting template.
