Remote Learning Expectations

We will be using Google Meet and/or Schoology (you'll learn more about Schoology later) for our remote learning classes. Some of the expectations for these meetings are listed below (these may change as the need arises):

• Remain on “mute” until the teacher asks you to release your mute button

• You must leave your video/camera active throughout instruction time

• The CHAT function is only used to record attendance and to ask and answer questions relevant to the topic being discussed in the lesson

• Remember that we have the same rules as in the classroom

• Remember that you are here to check in with me and ask questions for your understanding of lessons

• Try to be in a quiet space so that the noise from others does not disturb your learning

• You should not be on your phone, doing other activities, or participating in other tasks during our lessons

• We will use respectful words and manners throughout the entire session

• No hand signals, signs, or other disturbances to the others in the group

• No eating while having a discussion

• Please be on time to each of your remote classes and plan to remain actively involved for the entire class
